Following the acquisition of AgriCarb by CERATIZIT in 2022, the two companies will appear together for the first time at Agritechnica in Hanover from 12 to 18 November 2023. The acquisition provides AgriCarb access to expanded production capacities and facilitates the launch of an OEM line for agricultural wear parts. As partners, the companies offer their customers a strong comprehensive package that enables high-quality products in both small and large quantities.

“Thanks to decades of experience and in-depth know-how along the entire production chain, we can offer tailor-made solutions to our customers. Our highly qualified sales staff is present worldwide and therefore in close proximity to clients,” emphasises Marta Font, Segment Account Manager Agriculture & Mining at CERATIZIT Hard Material Solutions.

AgriCarb's market-leading carbide products last three to seven times as long as conventional steel parts. Through the cooperation with CERATIZIT, we are now able to make these high-quality wear parts available to an even wider range of users. With CERATIZIT's know-how and extensive production capacities at our disposal, AgriCarb can now expand to and compete on the US market. We are looking forward to supporting agriculture in the US by reducing the total cost of ownership for wear parts and by operating more sustainably", explains Pierre-Laurent Chanal, Export Sales Manager at AgriCarb and responsible for the activities in the US.

The best of both worlds

The internal structures at AgriCarb are small and flexible, which facilitates rapid adaptation to the needs of the market and customers. Furthermore, thanks to the support of CERATIZIT, AgriCarb not only has access to comprehensive production capacities and possibilities, but also to a highly efficient R&D department with state-of-the-art analytical equipment. This will serve to expedite the development of innovative solutions moving forward and help to sustainably increase productivity in agriculture.
