Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals

REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006
According to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, in force since 1 June 2007, all substances produced in or imported into the EU in quantities above one tonne have to be registered at the European Chemical Agency ECHA.
CERATIZIT SA introduced for themselves as well as for their subsidiaries all steps necessary to meet the requirements of the REACH regulation.
Substances – Preparations – Articles: - CERATIZIT imports and manufactures substances which are processed to articles. - All sintered hardmetal products delivered by CERATIZIT are articles in terms of REACH.
Pre-registration: - All substances obligatory for registration have been pre-registered in the REACH-ITsystem of ECHA. - Here you will find an overview of the substances which CERATIZIT has been pre-registered.
Registration: - All substances obligatory for registration will be registered in due time. - Registration dossiers for the substances to be registered will be prepared. - For tungsten carbide and its preliminary products which we manufacture / import in quantities of more than 1000 tons a year, we joined a REACH-consortium, established by ITIA (http://www.itia.info/). - All customer applications of our substances known to us are taken into consideration in the registration dossiers.
Substances of very high concern (SVHC): - CERATIZIT-products do not contain any substances of the SVHC-list, published by ECHA. - It is not to be expected that our substances might be listed on this list in future. If this happens although, we will inform our customers according to Art. 33 REACH.
Safety Data Sheets: - The Safety Data Sheets will be adapted to REACH in the course of the data collection.
