One of the important arguments in favour of our new MaxiMill 491 shoulder milling system is its excellent efficiency. In this context an important contribution comes from our precision inserts with eight cutting edges in the BLACKSTAR TM and SILVERSTAR TM grades. Our inserts produced with tolerance H guarantee outstanding axial and radial run-out, long tool life and high-quality surfaces. The MaxiMill 491 start programme includes tools with a nominal diameter range from 32-160 mm. They are provided with 12 mm precision inserts featuring a corner radius of 0.8 mm. The F-M-R chip grooves combined with the latest grade technologies, cover applications of steel, cast iron, stainless steel and aluminium materials in the ISO ranges P-K-M-N. Tool holders in metric dimensions for shell milling cutters, end mills and milling cutters with threaded shank are available from stock. Tools in inch dimensions will be available from June 2016.
