All about the bearing

Comprehensive standard tooling range for machining rings, rolls, and cages

Bearings are used in the most varied of industries – from machine tools, wind turbines, or drills through to inline skates. With complete integration in everyday life, a high-quality, yet still economic machining of the components is indispensible.

With our standard tools, you are optimally equipped for machining rings with a diameter from under 100 mm up to more than 250 mm, rolls or cages: we offer you standard tools for turning, parting and grooving, and drilling, as well as high-performance inserts made from carbide or cermet. All products are ideally suited for machining steel, the most used material in the bearing industry.

Ideal for turning of bearings: our ISO inserts of the grades CTCP115 (particularly wear-resistant – the 1st choice for highly productive steel machining under stable conditions) and CTCP125 (wear-resistant + tough – our universal steel turning grade). In difficult conditions, for example with parts with forging skin and irregular quantities of material to be removed and interrupted cuts, we offer the CTCP135 grade.
