Who are we and what do we do?

  • CERATIZIT Logistik GmbH was established at the Kempten site in 2002.
  • On 1 September 2019 CERATIZIT Logistik GmbH changed its company name to CERATIZIT Business Services GmbH. The new name shows that more and more services which go beyond pure logistics are offered for the CERATIZIT Group as a Shared Service Centre.
  • Due to the strong growth of the CERATIZIT Group, a new logistics centre was opened on 50,000 sqm in September 2021. This new centre is energy efficient according to the highest standards. We cover almost all our energy needs ourselves with solar energy.
  • We are the European logistics centre for the CERATIZIT Group and store products from the CERATIZIT production sites, as well as goods from external suppliers.
  • We are the most technologically sophisticated logistics centre in the industry worldwide.
  • Because part of the CERATIZIT sales organisation is based at the same site, we are always listening to our customers, so absolute customer focus is not just a buzzword for us.
  • Around 120 dedicated employees ensure that the logistics processes run smoothly; many of our colleagues have been with us for a good number of years.
  • This is how we ensure that our customers are able to order up to 7 p.m. and still receive their goods the next day.
  • Our customers can choose from approx. 90,000 different items.
  • We deliver over 4,000 parcels every day.
  • We want to leave behind a clean environment for future generations. That is why we are always working on environmentally friendly packaging, for example.
  • We work exclusively with well-known transport companies who are able to provide proof of their carbon footprint and are taking measures to reduce it.
