Our two colleagues Maximilian Voigt and Florian Knödler will take part in the expert talks on Thursday. Maximilian will present following topics: Tungsten Carbide in tool and die industry -Tungsten Carbide Machining 2.0 -Optimal EDM, hard milling & USP laser machining and Florian will introduce the new organization CERATIZIT Hard Material Solutions and share some words about the 100th anniversary of CERATIZIT.

When Dr Paul Schwarzkopf founded Metallwerk Plansee GmbH on 24 June 1921 he not only paved the way for the industrial manufacture of tungsten and molybdenum products – and thus for countless product developments of modern life – he also laid the foundations for the CERATIZIT Group resulting from the 2002 merger of Plansee Tizit and Luxembourg-based CERAMETAL.
