Who are we and what do we do?
- Initially established as WNT UK Ltd. in 1999, the Company became CERATIZIT UK & Ireland Ltd. in 2018. Continuing with its development, CERATIZIT UK & Ireland Ltd. acquired the KOMET Group in 2019, further strengthening its product portfolio.
- Together with CERATIZIT Nederland and Scandinavia AB, it forms part of the Northern Europe sales region.
- The Company employs 65 people across the UK & Ireland.
- As part of the CERATIZIT Group, the Company has over 20 years of experience in supplying the machining industry in the UK & Ireland with high precision cutting tools.
- In addition to its successful sales activities, the Company provides customers with comprehensive technical and project support, assisted by the development of a state-of-the-art Technical Centre located at the Advanced Manufacturing Park, adjacent to the University of Sheffield AMRC. This facility welcomes customers for regular training and events to demonstrate the Company’s extensive range of products and services.
- As a global leading expert in the development of high precision cutting tools, the Company is committed to excellence and innovation. It is proud to be a member of the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), the British Turned Parts Manufacturers Association (BTMA), the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA), the North West Aerospace Alliance (NWAA) and the Gauge & Toolmakers Association (GTMA), in addition to also being Technology Partner of the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC).
- As well as a passion for cutting tools, the Company is also an official Engineering Partner Sponsor of the British Super Bikes.
